Creating a Medicine Garden -247 Condon Rd, Pictou County.

Come and join Annie Ferguson of 100 Folk Farm and the Scotsburn Community Food Forest in a hands on medicine garden workshop.
This workshop is a limited seating workshop due to space. There will only be 10 seats released.
Annie will lead participants on in person journey to understanding the principles of and traditional purposes for a medicine garden. Having its roots in many old cultures, the creation of a purposefully planted garden with numerous medicinal plants has proven its worth for a long time. Annie will walk you thru the use and placement of stones, species of plants, tips and tricks for growing and seeding the plants and how to tend to the gardens.
This workshop will have participants learning inside and a tour of the land. Please dress for the weather and work. Participants will go home with information and resources to support the design and execution of their own garden.
There will be a follow up hands on planting workshop coming on June 28th for the herb spiral portion of this project.
